It's Much Better Now!
Version 2 is finally available!
I'm proud to give you the second version of the Fox or Squirrel? game. This version has fewer cards - making it easier to print-and-play. Here are some of the changes you'll see.
16 Cards
Going from 53 cards down to 16 is a big jump. We found that there was no need to have so many cards. There are nine foxes and nine squirrels - and that's it! The reverse cards are gone. The box cards are no longer needed. We've stripped away all the complexity and rebuilt it from the ground up.
New Win Condition
In the previous versions, you didn't want to collect cards. Now, you want to collect them, form sets and win! It's no longer a game with one loser, or of elimination. It feels much better to have a winner, especially if there are young players.
Single Player/Solo Mode
There is now a way to play the game on your own. Play through the deck until all 16 cards are collected or lost. The fewer you discard, the greater your chances of winning will be.
More Variety and Challenge
Older versions of the game only asked what the first card was. This version has five questions that you may be asked. You are told at the beginning of the round what one of those questions will be. You will be asked a follow-up question found on the back of the card. Answer both right and you get to collect it. Answer wrong and your opponent will get it. The questions are very simple, but add some variety and extra challenge to the game. Then again, if you have no idea - guess! You have a very good chance of getting it right!
Enjoy a win
I want kids to feel like winners - to compete with adults and feel grown up. I want adults to play competitively, without letting the child win. When you win Fox or Squirrel?, you feel like you earned it. When you lose, you feel like it wasn't your fault. It plays quick, with little setup, so you can always try again. I hope you enjoy this one with your loved ones!

Fox or Squirrel?
Players must identify the animals on the cards and remember them for later. It’s something even the youngest can do.
